用途
美孚威达油名称系列适合祗需要一般用途润滑油的密闭式齿轮及轴承使用。对采用油池式及全损式润滑方法的滑动及减摩轴承能提供极佳的润滑作用。本系列润滑油尤其适合机床的一般润滑与及祗需间歇润滑的机件。中等负荷的循环及液压系统，若因严重漏油而要经常添油或因污染而要经常换油的话，则可采用本润滑油。因为在此等耗油量较大的情况下，本系列润滑油比采用高品质涡轮及循环油较为经济。美孚威达油名称系列并不适用于整体油温超越华氏 150 度 (摄氏 66 度) ，或需要润滑油有很长使用寿命的系统。此等系统应选用美孚 DTE 名称系列。

Mobil Vactra Oil, named series, is formulated from selected, chemically stable, high VI base oils. Additives are incorporated that provide enhanced antiwear characteristics and improved film strength. These additives enable Mobil Vactra Oil, named series, to adhere strongly to metal surfaces and to provide protection against welding and scoring under thin film conditions.

Application
Mobil Vactra Oil, named series, is recommended for use in enclosed gears and bearings where a general purpose oil is recommended. They provide excellent lubrication of plain and antifriction bearings in both reservoir and all loss application. These oils are particularly suitable for general machine tool lubrication or other industrial applications where the lubricant is applied intermittently. Mobil Vactra Oil, named series, is recommended for use in moderate duty circulation and hydraulic systems where high leakage rates necessitate frequent makeup or where contamination requires frequent changeouts. In such service, these oils offer an economic advantage over premium quality turbine and circulating oils. Mobil Vactra Oil, named series, should not be used where bulk oil temperatures exceed 150 oF (66 oC) or where the oil is expected to remain in service for indefinite periods. Where such conditions exist, Mobil DTE Oil, named series, is preferred.
